Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph some fantastic headshots of this charismatic woman, Michelle. Her amazing photographs were taken at my brand new studio, Boston Studio Rental in Braintree, MA.  Michelle works in Real Estate so being that this was going to be, in most cases, her first impression it was extremely important that these pictures show who she is.

Michelle made it remarkably easy to capture these incredible photos. When she first contacted me and explained what these pictures were for we got right to work. She asked my professional opinion on what she should wear and how her makeup should be applied. I took the time, as I always do with all of my clients, to explain why a color scheme was so important. She sent me a few different options on clothing via text and together we selected what was going to work best with the backdrop she chose, as well as her skin tone. As you can see the final result was perfect.  She was an outright natural. During our time together we were telling jokes and having a great time. It was a pleasure working with her. It’s always important to that I make sure my clients are confident as well as thrilled with the final result. My job isn’t done until YOU think the pictures are perfect. I pride myself in being able to put my clients minds at ease. Making sure you are comfortable working with me is the most important part of my process. I can take the most amazing pictures in the world but if you’re not comfortable it is going to show in your pictures.

Great headshots can be used for anything from a modeling portfolio to your LinkedIn image. In Micelle’s case these photographs were going to be used on her business cards as well as for her online profile. In a world of digital everything, it’s still amazes me when someone asks, why is it so important to have a great headshot? The answer is EVERYTHING! Your appearance, your brand, your style, and the list goes on. Think about it, if you were searching for a real estate agent and the first image you saw of them was simply awful, wouldn’t you think to yourself, maybe this isn’t the right person for me? A photograph says a lot about someone, especially a photograph that isn’t very good. If you work in an industry that requires you to have a head shot why wouldn’t you want it to be the best? I understand that’s a lot of pressure to put on one photograph but that’s exactly why getting your headshot done professionally is so important.

Boston Studio Rental is 15 minutes south of Boston, Ma and right off of route 3A. It’s extremely convenient to locate and there is plenty of free off street parking. It certainly beats the traffic and hassle you have to deal with when you’re in the city. Boston Studio Rental has everything that you need. It can be used as a photography studio or as an event space. It is also equipped to do any type of videography.
